The main aim of the organizations of this type is to facilitate adoption of displaced and unwanted dogs of this breed, provide a good quality of life for them and to socialize them in foster homes. Also, such organizations educate the public about the responsible dog ownership. To reduce pet overpopulation, all animals are spayed or neutered prior to adoption. These organizations are usually non-profit and rely on donation, fund-raising activities and membership for the income. Everybody is welcome to make a donation or sponsor a dog.
